Researchinterest

I use genomic methods to investigate evolutionary factors that shape the genetic diversity of different vertebrate species.

My focus is on how de novo mutations, gene flow and hybridization, as well as structural genomic variation influence genetic diversity and speciation. As a trained molecular biologist, I now specialize in evolutionary and conservation biology, genomics and bioinformatics.
